My life as an endurance athlete began back in 2008 when I started running competitively at college, I quickly fell in love with the training, racing and pushing my body to see how far and fast I could go. I turned to road cycling after a running injury and rapidly rose up though the ranks winning the Junior Tour of Wales and riding for pro teams Raleigh and Madison Genesis. I raced around the world for a number of years and after trying my hand at triathlon returned to my roots and began Fell, Mountain and Trail running.
My stand out performances as a runner include two wins at the Three Peaks Fell Race, and wins in: Garmin Mourne Sky race, V3K Ultra, Skiddaw, Newlands Memorial, Buttermere Sailbeck and Grisedale Horseshoe. I was also UK Skyrunning Champion in 2018 and top 20 in the Skyrunning world championships that year.
I have been coaching endurance athletes for the past ten years, using scientific driven plans to get the best performance from athletes and prepare them for races, events, and reach fitness goals. My passion for running and attention to detail within a training plan will deliver you to your peak performances and progress you as a runner.
